Tucked deep within Alaska’s remote Aleutian Chain, the GCI Akutan 5G deployment presented a unique combination of engineering, logistics, and environmental challenges. Located on Akutan Island in the Bering Sea, this project required delivering next-generation wireless infrastructure to one of the most isolated communities in North America.
